Total Saddle Fit Stretchtec dressage/short Shoulder Relief Girth
Innovative patented design from TSF, building on their highly successful classic Shoulder Relief Girth. Incorporates a patented triangular centre elastic section that helps the girth conform to the horse's barrel and provides additional expansion for breathing. Perfect for hard to fit horses and sensitive types needing maximum breathing room
Why we chose it
- Anatomical shape: Retains TSF's anatomical shape that runs forward into the horse's natural girth groove: helps prevent the girth pulling the saddle forward and provides maximum shoulder and elbow freedom
- New triangular elastic section that helps the girth conform better, reducing any gaping at the front, creates a more even spread of pressure, and provides significant additional expansion for breathing
- Top-quality English saddle leather on the exterior to avoid stretching and provide long life, padded calf skin inside, elastic on both ends (in addition to the centre section), stainless steel buckles and hardware
- Calfskin leather liner is removable (see product images) and can be replaced by optional neoprene or fleece liner based on preference (see "You may also like" below)
"It's a great girth. My mare has always been girthy, has a forward girth groove and has mildly objected to girthing in everything I've used - fairfax, stubben equisoft, neoprene, sheepskin, string, the works. This is the only one she doesn't bat an eyelid at of everything I've used in 7 years!” J.R., on-line customer
Sizing:
TSF girths come up true to size (girth measurements are standard buckle end to buckle end). In judging your correct girth size we strongly recommend measuring your girth buckle to buckle rather than going off the marked size - some girths can stretch, and the actual size may now be very different from when it was manufactured.
Colours:
Available in black, brown (a perfect match to the nut of our Silver Crown bridles) and dark brown (see photos). Note: Dark brown available only in sizes 24 & 26
Fitting note:
With their anatomical shape, these girths should be fitted so the central section under the horse's belly is forward of the billets where it attaches to the saddle
